The roof style on this home is an "intersecting hip and gable" style. The house has "one interior brick chimney" with "rectangular, 3/1 and 6/1" fenestration.

Significant details: "Huge steeply pitched hipped roof projection on third floor with canted corners, bay of four windows with 3/1 sash, and hooded frieze. Plain window frames. Some windows are paired."

Historical background: "The original owner of this house, which was built for $5,000, was John C. Stevens who lived at the northwest corner of Minnehaha and Asbury" see John C. Stevens House.
