The original owner of this house was Robert Campbell Wight who was a director at the Chicago Great Western Railway Co as well as director and president of the Iowa Development Co. and the Iowa Townsite Co.

A sophisticated Renaissance Revival-inspired mansion which has some of the most colorful polychromatic brickwork in St. Paul residential architecture.[1]
