This church has stucco walls and a three story tower.

Some significant details include "stucco church on brick base with three story square entrance tower with parapet wall and molded crosses in stucco. Small Craftsman gabled entrance overhang. Side aisles feature pair of rectangular stained glass windows. Side entrance within open gabled entrance porch. Exposed rafters."

The legal description is "Lots 13-15, Block 26, Syndicate #5 Addition"

History

"This church, built in 1915 at an estimated cost of $2,700, was originally the First Swedish Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1923, permit #3530 was issued for a $16,000 addition by contractor G.P. Peterson. Today the building is St. John's United Methodist Church."
