Hi Cynthia

I wanted to thank you for contributions. I took a look at your site on how to do house research and it is very impressive, it could be a good model for Placeography. I would like to run it by our librarian who did the house history research material for the Minnesota Historical Society/Placeography.

BTW: I couldn't help digging deeper into your site. Again, a great site with comprehensive local resources. I liked your page 'The Truth About Snow in Buffalo' need to do one about 'The Truth About Cold in Minnesota'. Also, glad to see you like contra dancing. I was a Morris Dancer myself.

If you or any one at the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society are interested in contributing Buffalo places, you would be most welcome to do so. I could also look into creating your organization a portal if you are interested. I am creating a portal for Madison County Historical Society from Kentucky. It would be a page for organizing and listing Buffalo places and tours.

I hope you enjoy using Placeography, if you need any help on wiki syntax please let me know. I recommend you take a look at some of the links below, even if you already familiar with Wikis and Wikipedia in general. If you want to try out some new bit of coding before you post it, try experimenting with it at the Sandbox page. There, you can test out anything for fun.
To contact me with questions or concerns, leave a comment on my Talk page or leave a comment on the Questions page and someone will answer your question shortly.

Also we have a good community of history buffs and preservationists here. Feel free to add info about yourself to your profile page to let others know more about you.

Good Luck and hope to hear from you soon!
Joe Hoover
