Notes: Multiple-gable front facade with elaborate corner brackets. Altered, open hip-roofed porch spans main facade. Front window is large with elaborate stained glass transom. Transom over door with house numbers painted in gold. Bay window with truncated hipped roof on east facade.

Hamline Midway Saint Paul Ramsey

The original owner of this house was Henry Gutenberg, who is listed in the city directory as having a meat business at 940 Beech and living at that address as well. This house on Taylor was built for an estimated $5,000. The original occupant is not known.
